About Origami 4 Fun
Alex Tonchievici is a freelance origami artist/teacher, based in East London, who enjoys a life full of creativity and learning. Her interest in origami, the Japanese art of folding paper, originated when she was studying architecture and has grown into a passion. She also loves drawing, photography and meditation, all of which she expresses through her origami works.

In the last 7 years, being interested in the educational applications of origami, she has developed all sorts of fun activities for children and young people, engaging them in creating something unique.

Origami_4_Fun started as a project with the aim to introduce origami as an artistic element in the creative development of the child and young people.

For Alex, origami is a communication channel used towards discovering and fostering of new creative skills. Just by using the “magic touch” of her bare hands, she brings to life all her origami projects.
