Summer Makers’ Market

Urban Makers East are continuing their run of seasonal makers’ markets at the beautiful, light and modern Ecology Pavilion in Mile End Park. Situated amongst the picturesque lakes and reed beds of the park, the pavilion will provide a beautiful setting for some of the areas foremost independent designer makers. On the weekend of June 3rd and 4th from 11 – 5pm, you can once again expect a carefully curated mix of contemporary designer makers, handpicked by Urban Makers East to give you something unique and beautiful. You can expect original art works, homeware, jewellery, textiles, stationary, knitwear, clothes for hip kids, contemporary miscellania and more.

There are four workshops running over the weekend.

Saturday: 11.30 – 1.30pm Make your own beaded hanging planter with Caron Goldman
2 – 4pm Create a collage with The Artisitic Side of Life.

Sunday: 11.30 – 1.30pm Bespoke Face Mask Workshop with Suzie from Soothe-Me
2 – 4pm Bathbomb making with Philly Aime 

Laurence King publishing will be joining us with a range of activities. They will be supplying colouring and comic making books to the ever popular Minimakers’ Craft Room, hosting two temporary tattoo booths for kids and adults, plus children will be invited to dress as their favourite superhero for an action packed treasure hunt. Laurence King will also be selling discounted  books and games from their creative range of titles. Please follow our Instagram account for giveaways.

If you need to restore some energy, visitors will be able to sit, relax and enjoy the view through scene stealing floor to ceiling windows whilst enjoying exquisite street food, killer cakes, ice cream, artisan coffee and Summer cocktails.
